Our next project is to bring together (we hope) over one hundred folk and traditional tracks recorded by folk luminary Geoff Speed at BBC Radio Merseyside between c. 1968 and 1980.  This will be a celebration not only of the music, but also of Geoff’s contributions to the folk scene and the enduring quality of that very music.

We are also exploring another This Is Mersey Beat (4) project and looking at the possibility of bringing together more acetates, one-offs and tape recordings of Merseyside based groups - particularly those involved in late 1960s psychedelia.
